Upcoming Conference: Japan 2025
Posted on Jul 27 - Aug 3, 2025
American and Japanese Delegates (current participants) who will attend the Japan 2025 conference (July 27 - August 3, 2025) as their first conference must be between the ages of 28 and 42 on the first day of the conference (July 27, 2025). Delegates who start the Program in 2025 will return for their second year at the 2026 USA Conference in July 2026 (exact dates and location TBA). Delegates who must defer their second year in 2026 will be given due consideration for participation in a future (i.e. 2028 or later) USA conference, space permitting.
Newly selected Delegates to the Japan 2025 conference will join second year Delegates who have successfully participated in a U.S. conference. Over the course of the week the combined group of approximately 40 Delegates will engage in substantive discussions as well as recreational and social activities designed to strengthen relationships within the cohort and cultivate a greater understanding of the culture, society, and economy of our two countries, sparking ideas for how members can collaborate together to address current issues and strengthen endeavors across a variety of fields poised to have impact on our shared future.
Please note that the 2025-2026 application cycle will commence in early fall, 2024. Interested candidates are encouraged to sign up for USJLP email announcements to be among the first to be notified about the start of the 2025-2026 application cycle.
